Meet Allison

Allison is passionate about God’s Word and teaching Bible literacy through inductive studies, which she writes for her local church. Recently, she participated in a collaborative effort to publish a devotional, The Father’s Table - a Daily Guide for Feasting on the Goodness of God. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, providing a lap for her cockapoo, and dark chocolate.

Allison is a gifted teacher/speaker. Her passion for the Word of God is evident as soon as she begins to speak! As the leader of Women’s Ministry at our church, she continually challenges me to dig deeper into God’s Word. As a friend, she points me to Jesus and encourages me in our conversations. She would be the first to say she’s not a perfect person, but she is an authentic and transparent Christ-follower.

I am a Maryland girl at heart, but currently live in Greencastle, PA. After graduating from Word of Life Bible College and Liberty University, I began working in the political and finance world until God called me to my favorite and most fulfilling roles of wife and mom. I married Joe Trobaugh in 2001, and together we have three adult children, Emma (doggy mom and married to our son-in-love, Dylane), Gracie (big heart and fiercely independent Liberty University student), and Hutson (all-around funny guy and college baseball player).
